Sometimes you want the opposite of the norm. You want a vertical list of items on Desktop (traditional reading flow) but a horizontal slider on Mobile (to save vertical height).

To solve this, use Div Render Container Slider for Elementor.

Step 1: Desktop Settings

Enable Slider Mode.
On Desktop settings, set Slides Per View to 1.
Set Direction (if available in slider settings) to Vertical OR effectively disable the slider look by setting Effect to None/Grid (if supported).
Correction: Standard sliders force horizontal layout. To achieve “Stack on Desktop”, you usually disable the slider entirely on Desktop.
The Fix: If the plugin has a “Disable on Desktop” toggle, use it. If not, set Desktop Slides Per View to 1 and Direction Vertical.

Step 2: Mobile Settings

On Mobile settings, set Slides Per View to 1.2 (Horizontal).
This effectively creates a hybrid layout.

Pro Tips for Stacking

  • Conditional Loading: Ideally, you want the slider script to barely run on desktop. If the plugin supports “Enable Responsive” (Enable only on Mobile), that is the cleanest method.
