How to Trigger Popup Modals from Inside an Elementor Slider

Sliders are great for teasers. Often, the desired action is not to navigate away, but to open a popup with more info.

To solve this, use Div Render Container Slider for Elementor.

Step 1: The Button

Add a Button widget inside your slide.
In the Button Link settings, click Dynamic Tags > Actions > Popup.
Select the popup you created.

Step 2: The Conflict

Sliders rely on drag events. Sometimes clicking a button inside a draggable slider can be misinterpreted as a drag.

• Pause on Interaction: Ensure this is ON.
• Z-Index: If clicks aren’t registering, ensure the button has a higher z-index than the slide overlay (if any).
